Nicklaus Design, the renowned architectural firm dedicated to the design of golf courses founded by legendary professional golfer Jack Nicklaus, has designed an 18-hole golf course that will pass through the residential areas, parks and lakes of Santa Maria Golf & Country Club.
To maintain the exclusivity of the game, golf course membership will be restricted to approximately 550 members who must own property within Santa Maria to qualify for an invitation to join this distinguished club.
At least 57 of Nicklaus Design's courts have been placed on the list of the top 100 national and international golf courses and in 2006, more than 80 Nicklaus courts received more than 500 professional tournaments from the world or national amateur championships.
